How do I redeem my BONUS PACK?
How do I get my BONUS PACK Rebate Access Code?
The BONUS PACK Rebate Access Code qualifies you to receive the valuable rebates that
our offer providers have extended. It is a code of the form XXXX-XXXX and you receive it when
your purchase is validated for eligibility. You can validate your purchase by kicking off
the redemption process as stated above.
Validation of Windows Vista and 2007 Microsoft Office System products is done online. When
you click the 'Redeem Now' button your system will be taken to the Genuine Advantage site for
validation. Validation of other products is done offline and requires you to submit information
on a form, including a receipt. After clicking the 'Redeem Now' button you will be taken
to a partner who will collect the information. You should receive a confirmation email within
2-3 business days containing the link for your eligible purchase redemption. Click on that link
to receive your BONUS PACK Rebate Access Codes.
PLEASE NOTE: You need your BONUS PACK Rebate Access Code to qualify for the mail-in rebate on the
hardware accessories you want to redeem. We suggest you print them out and save them. You can
also see your codes again just by going back through the redemption process as you did the first time.
What is a local PC builder?
A local PC builder is a local or regional business that builds and sells PCs. Buying your PC
with genuine Microsoft® software from a local PC builder is a great value, thanks to the
service and support that local PC builders offer.
What is the BONUS PACK offer?
The
BONUS PACK promotion rewards you for making purchases from local PC builders by offering
you access to FREE (after mail-in rebate, S&H/Taxes apply) hardware accessories. The offer is exclusively
for customers who buy PCs or Servers pre-installed with eligible genuine Microsoft® software. Please review

offer grid for details on which offers come with which products.
How do I get a BONUS PACK?
To get your
BONUS PACK, you must:
- Purchase a PC or Server pre-installed with one of the products listed on our offer
grid and listed as qualifying in our eligible parts page.
- Purchase from a local PC builder in the United States between January 1, 2008 and June 27, 2008.
- Validate the software using by following the instructions on the redemption page.
NOTE: you must redeem within 30 days of purchase.
How can I tell if the software installed on my computer is eligible for the BONUS PACK offer?
The BONUS PACK offer is available only for certain eligible genuine Windows Vista, Microsoft Office 2007 systems
and Windows Small Business Server 2003 licenses in the U.S. The offer must be redeemed in the U.S. It is only
valid for eligible licenses of Windows Vista Home Premium, Windows Vista Business, Windows Vista Ultimate, Office
Professional 2007, Office Small Business 2007, Office Home and Student Edition, Windows Small Business Server 2003
Standard Edition, and Windows Small Business Server 2003 Premium Edition.
For a license to be eligible it must have one of the part numbers on this page

Do Dell, Gateway, and other major computer manufacturers qualify
as local PC builders for this offer?
No. The
BONUS PACK offer excludes products intended for
major computer manufacturers or part of a volume license agreement.

I'm not sure which edition of Windows Vista, Windows Home Server, Windows Server, or Windows Small Business Server 2003 I have. How can I find out?
To find out your edition you have pre-installed, simply:
- Click the Start button.
- Choose Computer.
- Select Properties. The window that opens will tell you which version of the operating system you have.
You may use that information to select the corresponding
BONUS PACK offer(s).
I'm not sure which edition of 2007 Microsoft Office system I have. How can I find out?
If you have Microsoft Outlook 2007 you may find out your office edition this way:
- Launch Microsoft Outlook 2007.
- Choose the help menu.
- Choose About Microsoft Office Outlook.
- The window that opens will tell you versions of 2007 Microsoft Office system you have.

I meet the requirements for the BONUS PACK offer, but
received an error message. What should I do?

received a Validation Incomplete message when I applied. What should I do?
Why do I need to validate my copy of genuine Microsoft software to receive the offers?
Validating your software confirms that you have acquired a license to genuine Microsoft software.
Using genuine software means that your system will deliver more productivity, integration,
and the rich experiences you enjoy every day.
I'm having trouble getting the offer providers to redeem my order. What should I
do?
We work very hard with the offer providers to create a great experience, but unfortunately
sometimes there are issues. The companies providing the offers are responsible for redeeming the offer. If
you are experiencing difficulty with redeeming the offer, please contact the
offer provider customer support department.
I'm having technical difficulty using one of the BONUS PACK
offers. Who should I contact?
Each offer provider has included a link on its Web site for customer support
and inquiries regarding the offer. Please contact the company providing the
offer for technical or customer support.
Is the BONUS PACK offer available in Canada?
Unfortunately not. The BONUS PACK offer is only available to customers in the United States and redeem
the offer in the United States.
Is there any limit to the number of PCs I can purchase in order to redeem the
offers for the BONUS PACK offer?
There is no limit to the number of PC purchases you can make to redeem the
offers for the
BONUS PACK offer, but there is a limit
of one
BONUS PACK per PC purchase. All purchases must be made and redeemed
as specified in the
Terms and Conditions.
Can I get any of the BONUS PACKs I want? They are very different.
You are only eligible to receive the
BONUS PACK that is available for the software you purchased. Please
review the
offers grid for complete details.
Are there any hidden fees I should be aware of?
You are not required to pay any fees to obtain the BONUS PACK offers. However,
all the offers are mail-in rebates, and shipping and handling charges and taxes will apply.
Although you may purchase other products, the rebate may not cover the full amount of the purchase.
Is the rebate applicable to any item by the offer providers?
The rebates that are part of the BONUS PACK program are only applicable to the products
listed on this campaign site and on the offer provider site. The items must be purchased directly from
